We Are Whiskybosh

We conceptualised the word Whiskybosh as a reflection of the sensory experience. When our brains construct flavour from the information relayed by our senses it creates a purely subjective and personal sensation. Whiskybosh provides a purely ambiguous term, one that is open to whichever interpretation you choose to place on it.

Whiskybosh is the culmination of over 20 years of work and research within the drinks business that has comprehensively spanned wine, sherry, spirits and of course whisky at Wines and Spirit Education Trust diploma level. Combined with an equal time of professional experience in public speaking, university course leadership and global event management, we have over the years developed a unique skill set that enables us to design, organise and host truly wonderful sensory events.


Our experience over this time has been gained whilst working with Oddbins, Drinkmonger, Royal Mile Whiskies, Pernod Ricard, Glenmorangie, Diageo and The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. We have expert practical knowledge of sensory evaluation and provide quality assessment and tasting notes for leading independent bottlers. 

It is the complexity and variety of flavour within whisky that has drawn us to pursue the intricacies of this fine spirit. Few drinks share such diversity of flavour, which when combined with the elaborate wiring of the human brain creates a fascinating environment which we want to explore as well as share.
